Steel Wire Armoring Machine for Submarine Fiber Optical Cables
This Planetary type Steel wire Armoring machine is specially designed and used for Submarine Fiber Optical Cable (SFOC) steel wire armoring process with 100% back-twist.
It can make both double Armoring layers and also single Armoring layer by synchronized stranding process.
In the past few years, we have totally installed more than 20 complete production lines of steel wire armoring machines specially for submarine cable manufacture, serving most major submarine cables manufacturers including but not limited to: Hengtong, ZTT, Sumitomo Electric-Futong, Baosheng……
Features of our Steel Wire Armoring Machine for Submarine Fiber Optical Cables
1. Planetary type stranding process with 100% back-twist to remove the wire torsion, which can avoid the armoring wires loose.
2. Wire pay-off tension from each bobbin is provided and controlled by Germany ZF brand Hysteresis system to ensure constant tension from bobbin full to empty, the armoring layer will not wire jump or bulge, which greatly improve the armoring quality and efficiency of production.
3. Can make both single layer and double layers of steel wire armoring process.
4. Bitumen filling and PP yarns wrapping are available according to technological requirements.
5. Turntable type Pay-off & Take-up are equipped for long length submarine fiber optic cable production need.
6. We can also make our steel wire armoring process tandem connected the copper tube argon-arc welding process on-line production.
7. Individual motor drive system, high working efficiency, intelligent computing parameters.
8. SIEMENS PLC + SIEMENS HMI electrical control system.
9. With decades of manufacture experience, all parts of the entire armoring system are being improved constantly.
