OPGW Wire Stranding Machine
This is specially designed and manufactured planetary type stranding machine for making OPGW cable (Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire).
It can make both Tubular type OPGW and Layer-stranded type OPGW and also OPPC.
It can also be used for stranding copper wire, aluminum wire, low-carbon steel wire and insulated cores, control cables with 100% back-twist.
Features of our OPGW Wire Stranding Machine
1. Unique design of wire pay-off tension specially for the stainless steel tube with Optical Fiber unit inside. All the wire pay-off from the bobbins adopt power type wire pay-off system, tension is closed-loop PID Servo control.
2. The tension is constant, quantized, it can be display and adjusted online with easy operation and maintenance.
3. Individual motor drive each stranding cage, the cage is heavy-duty type.
4. Wire stranding process with 100% back-twisting to release the wire inner torsion.
5. Special design for stranding Stainless steel tube (with fiber unit inside), Al/Al-alloy/Al clad steel wires.
